Beltane in the ancient Celtic wheel marks the beginning of summer, the celebration of fertility, the sacred marriage of yin and yang, feminine and masculine energies, the ascent of passion.
Beltane energy is the equivalent to mid-morning energy, urgent creative feelings, the gibbous moon, the life stage of the Maiden or young man, sexual awakening.
The questions I invite you to explore at this time are:
– What areas of your life are becoming fertile, are blossoming?
– Where does your creative energy flow?
– How do you honour your passions?
Beltane is also a great time for instance to create beauty, arrange an altar with flowers, enliven your senses, dance or make wishes around a bonfire!
